Founded in 1997, Paramount Capital Group, LLC entered the market by providing capital to the private student loan sector through trade school lending and servicing its own portfolio. From the beginning, Paramount established a reputation for reliability, disciplined operations, and a deep understanding of the specialty finance landscape.

 

In 2014, Paramount expanded beyond its own portfolio and began partnering with lenders and originators to service their loans on the enhanced Paramount Advantage Servicing platform. This expansion positioned Paramount as a trusted leader in consumer loan servicing, recognized for strong performance, transparent reporting, and a commitment to client success.

On September 1, 2024, ECN Capital Corp. (TSX: ECN) acquired a majority interest in Paramount. This brought renewed investment, expanded capabilities, and a strengthened management team with decades of expertise in loan servicing, operations, compliance, and technology.


Today, Paramount Capital Group continues building its long-standing foundation while evolving into a modern, technology-driven servicing provider.
